Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ with Snapdragon 865+ launched in India: price, specifications

Just yesterday, we exclusively reported that Samsung‘s flagship tablets – Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ will go on sale in India starting September 7th and pre-orders would open soon. Right on cue, Samsung has launched the flagship tablets in India with pre-bookings for all models open now. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S7 in Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants, whereas the Plus model comes in a single LTE variant.

Notably, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 series earlier this month at its Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event. These are first-ever tablets to feature a 120Hz displays and Snapdragon 865+ processors. Here are the details of all pre-booking offers and availability of Galaxy Tab S7 in India.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ feature 120Hz displays

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Wi-Fi-only model has been priced at Rs 55,999. With the Keyboard Cover (Rs 15,999) included, the price goes up to Rs 71,998. However —as part of the pre-booking offer — Samsung is offering Rs 10,000 off on the Keyboard Cover and cashback of up to Rs 5,000 on HDFC credit and debit cards. This brings the effective price down to Rs 56,998 (including the cover) for the base model.

The LTE variants of Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ have been priced at Rs 63,999 and Rs 79,999, respectively. The price of Keyboard Cover for the Tab S7 LTE remains the same as Wi-Fi only model, but for the Tab S7+ is slightly more expensive at Rs 17,999. While both get the same Rs 10,000 discount on the keyboard cover, the plus variant gets Rs 6,000 cashback on HDFC cards. This means the effective pre-booking price of Galaxy Tab S7 LTE (with the keyboard cover) is Rs 64,998 and for Tab S7+ it is Rs 81,998, instead of Rs 79,998 and Rs 97,998, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are both already up for pre-booking in India now. The Wi-Fi variant of the former will be available from Reliance Retail and Samsung Shop. The LTE variant of standard and plus models can be picked from Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Shop and select retail outlets.

Additionally, Samsung is also offering a special discount of 22.6 percent on Microsoft 365 Family priced at Rs 5,299, which means Tab S7 series buyers can get the productivity suite for Rs 4,101.42. The brand is also offering four months of YouTube Premium, 6 months of Clip Studio Paint and a 30-day trial of Canva Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ specifications and features

To recall, the Galaxy Tab S7 features an 11-inch LTPS LCD panel with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, while the Tab S7+ comes with a 12.4-inch S-AMOLED screen with 1,752 x 2,800 pixels resolution. Both tablets offer a super-smooth refresh rate of 120Hz. The standard variant comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, whereas the top-of-the-line model features in-display biometrics.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 duo are powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865+ chipset accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The on-board storage can be further expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The tablets boot Android 10-based OneUI out of the box. The Tab S7 is powered by an 8,000mAh battery, whereas the Tab S7+ has a beefier 10,090 mAh unit. Both models support 45W fast charging.

For cameras, the Galaxy Tab S7 series offers a 13-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the rear and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. Other features include S Pen stylus with 9ms latency, AKG-tuned quad speakers, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 820.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB-C 3.2.
