Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra are expected to launch soon in global markets. It is speculated that the South Korean tech giant may hold a launch event on February 8th, 2022, to announce the Galaxy S22 series of flagship phones. However, the upcoming flagship tablets may go official just before or during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 tech exhibition in February 2022.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Galaxy Tab S8 models will be the first tablets to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. The latest report by Winfuture.de has leaked the major specs of the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra along with their images. Let’s take a look at everything that the latest leak has revealed.

Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra specifications (rumoured)

The Galaxy Tab S8 may house an 11-inch LTPS TFT display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, 276 ppi pixel density. The Tab S8+ may get a larger 12.7-inch S-AMOLED display that offers Quad HD+ resolution of 2,800 x 1,752 pixels and 266 ppi pixel density. The Tab S8 Ultra is expected to feature an even bigger 14.6-inch S-AMOLED screen that offers a higher resolution of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels and 240 ppi pixel density. The Tab S8 trio is expected to carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate and come with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Only the Ultra model is expected to feature a display notch, which is speculated to include a pair of 12-megapixel front-facing cameras. The Tab S8 and Tab S8+ are likely to come with a 12-megapixel front camera. The Tab S8 trio may flaunt a dual-camera setup on the back, which comprises a 12-megapixel main camera, a 6-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an LED flash.

 

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is tipped to power the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. The Ultra model may arrive with 8GB / 16GB of RAM and 128GB / 512GB, whereas the other two models come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. The series is expected to ship with One UI 4.1 based Android 12 OS. The Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra will reportedly come with an 8,000mAh, 10,090mAh, and 11,200mAh battery, respectively.

The Galaxy Tab S8 trio is speculated to offer other features such as S Pen support, Wireless DeX, a fingerprint scanner, face unlock, Knox security, Dolby Atmos powered quad speakers, fast charging, and a microSD card slot. The Tab S8 lineup may offer connectivity options like 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, ANT+, and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port. The Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra reportedly measure 6.3mm, 5.7mm, and 5.5mm in thickness, respectively. While the Tab S8 and S8+ is said to weigh 507 grams and 567 grams, the Ultra variant may weigh around 728 grams.

There is no new information on the pricing of the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Past reports have claimed that the Tab S8 could be priced between €600 (~Rs 50,900) and €900 (~Rs 76,400), the Tab S8+ may cost between €880 (~Rs 74,700) and €1,110 (~Rs 93,400), and the Tab S8 Ultra may be priced between €1,040 (~Rs 88,300) and €1,220 (~Rs 1,03,550), respectively. In Europe, it is expected to arrive in the “Graphite” colour, which can be seen in leaked renders above. It is unclear whether the S8 trio will be releasing in other colours in Europe. Also, there is no word on whether the Tab S8 lineup will be made available in India.
