It’s worth noting that Samsung won’t be launching its marquee Galaxy Note series at this year’s Unpacked event probably due to a semi-conductor shortage. The brand had confirmed the news earlier this year.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event to take place on August 11th: what to expect
Samsung is expected to launch the next-gen foldable smartphones as well as the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2. All four devices have already been spotted in the leaked renders leaving nothing to the imagination.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are expected to come with 120Hz displays. The former will feature a vertically stacked triple camera setup consisting of 12MP sensors and a 16MP front-facing snapper. The device will reportedly come with S-Pen support. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is tipped to come with a significantly upgraded design with a dual-tone back panel and a large outer display.
As for the Galaxy Watch 4, it will reportedly run on the new version of Google’s WearOS instead of Tizen. The smartwatch is rumoured to come with new health and fitness-centric features. On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 2 is expected to feature active noise cancellation.
