Samsung Galaxy watches are claimed to be one of the best smartwatches in the Android ecosystem. The Galaxy Watch 4 was a tremendous success, and now it seems that Samsung is working on its successor. A few days back, Evan Blass on 91mobiles revealed some high-resolution, 3D renders of the upcoming smartwatch. Today we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE variants on the NBTC Certification website.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 was spotted on the NBTC website with SM-R905F and SM-R915F model numbers, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro was spotted with the model number SM-R925F. A few days back, both the upcoming smartwatches from Samsung were listed on Samsung’s support website, which indicated their European release.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5
Samsung has listed two models of Galaxy Watch 5 on the NBTC website. The first one is listed with SM-R905F model number, which is a 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 5, and another is listed with SM-R915F model number, which is a 44mm version of the Galaxy Watch 5. Earlier, the smartwatch was listed on FCC certification and database, which revealed some critical specifications of the smartwatch.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The watch will also have NFC, but there is a strong possibility that it will not be part of every Galaxy Watch 5 model. The smartwatch will have 10W charging (5V, 2A) as an input. However, some reports suggest that Samsung might stick with a 5W charging speed.

As per leaks and rumours, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be available with a sapphire glass and titanium build. Additionally, some reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will also have a thermometer feature. Like last year’s smartwatches Samsung will also use WearOS on their upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. Apart from that, the smartwatch will also support google assistant.
