Now, the same device has been spotted on the FCC certification website that sheds some more light on its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro receives the FCC certification
As seen in the images taken from the FCC documentation, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has the model number SM-G715FN/DS. Though the listing does not specify the XCover Pro moniker, we got a hint from XDA Developers Editor-in-Chief Mishaal Rahman a little while ago who claims that the SM-G715FN is indeed the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. He further claimed that the device could launch soon in the European markets.
Nevertheless, the FCC listing has revealed the dimensions of the device. As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro will measure 160 x 77mm. The overall diagonal will be 173mm and the net-effective display-diagonal will be 160mm. This certainly means that we can expect the display of the device to be somewhere around 6.3 inches.
The listing further confirms the connectivity features of the device - dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, ANT+, and NFC. Lastly, the battery of the device is rated to be 1,500mAh which could be inaccurate, to be practical. The charging capacity of the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is slated to be 15W.
Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro was caught running on the Geekbench database wherein it has scored 346 in the single-core test and 1,201 in the multi-core test. The device will have an octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset in its helm which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. There, however, could be more RAM and memory variants of the device.
