Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has been spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench with model number SM-F721U. The device also appeared on China’s 3C database. Both listings reveal key specifications of the foldable smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will arrive as the successor to last year’s Z Flip 3. It is expected to debut at brand’s annual Unpacked event that takes place in August. The upcoming foldable offering has also appeared in leaked renders
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 listed on Geekbench and 3C
As per Geekbench, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is listed with a ‘taro’ motherboard consisting of four cores operating at 1.80GHz out of which three cores run at 2.75GHz and one core is clocked at 3.19GHz.. This indicates that the foldable smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor that is yet to be announced. Additionally, the chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and run Android 12 out of the box. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 manages to score 1,277 points in single-core and 3,642 points in multi-core tests.
Coming to the 3C listing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will reportedly be backed by a 3,595mAh battery unit that is said to comprise dual battery cells of 2,555mAh and 1,040mAh rated capacities respectively.
The leaked renders shared by 91Mobiles reveal that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will look identical to its predecessor. However, we notice that the next-generation flagship has a slightly more boxy form factor. The smartphone has a tall display and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. It has an aluminium frame and glass back panel. The right side of the device has volume rocker keys and a power button that doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will retain a dual-toned back panel and it is seen in Blue colour option in the renders. The foldable smartphone is said to measure 165.1 x 71.9 x 7.2mm.
