Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to launch in August this year. Since the expected launch is a couple of months away, the rumour mill has already started leaking information about both models.
Earlier this week, a reliable tipster revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will come with a bigger cover display, whereas some reports have already leaked information on the display and cameras of the Z Fold 5. In a new report, Sammobile has tipped the storage configurations of the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. Here is a look at what to expect from both models.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 configurations (rumoured)
As per the report, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will arrive with UFS 4.0 storage options, such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. To those who don’t know, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 from last year and the Galaxy S23 Ultra are also available in the same storage variants in the market.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in storage variants like 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB like the Galaxy Z Flip 4 from last year. The base model will have a UFS 3.1 storage chip, whereas the other variants will have a UFS 4.0 chip.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 specifications (rumoured)
Reports have revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED panel that offers a resolution of 1,768 x 2,208 pixels. There is no information on the size of its front display. Both screens are likely to come equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Some reports have claimed that it will have a dedicated slot for the S Pen, but a recent leak revealed that there will be no storage slot for it on the device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5’s rear camera setup may feature a 108-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. It could be accompanied by a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Z Fold 5 could be powered by the custom-designed 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is present under the hood of the Galaxy S23 series.
The rumour mill is yet to reveal the specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is likely that it may feature a cover display, which measures around 3.5 inches. It could be powered by the custom-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. In addition, it may come with a new hinge technology, that will reduce the display crease.
