Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 pre-registrations open in India

Earlier this month, Samsung held a mega launch event to announce multiple devices such as Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live. At the same event, it also announced the Galaxy Z Fold2, the successor to last year’s Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone. The South Korean company has now started pre-registrations of the Galaxy Z Fold2 through the Samsung India website.

Customers who are interested in purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold 2 can visit the official page of the device and hit the “Notify Me” button. Then, one can register interest for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 by entering details like name, mobile, number, email address, and pin code. By entering these details, one can stay updated on the arrival of the Z Fold 2.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 has a 7.6-inch S-AMOLED inner flexible screen and a 6.2-inch S-AMOLED cover display. Both displays sport an Infinity-O punch-hole design. The inner screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 5:4 aspect ratio, whereas the outer display supports a 60Hz refresh rate and 25:9 aspect ratio.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 is driven by the Snapdragon 865 Plus and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It has 256GB of internal storage. The rear-facing camera setup includes an OIS-assisted 12-megapixel main camera, a 12-mega-pixel ultrawide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. There are two 10-megapixel front-facing cameras. It draws power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and 11W wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 price in India

There is no official word on the pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold2. The original Galaxy Fold model is now available for Rs 1,73,999. We expect the Galaxy Z Fold2 to be priced significantly higher.
