Samsung Launches Galaxy C9 Pro With Snapdragon 653 In China

In an even held in China on Saturday, Samsung unleashed yet another premium smartphone with latest Snapdragon 653 processor which was unveiled by Qualcomm in 4G/5G summit last week. Just a month ago, Samsung launched Galaxy A9 Pro in India which bears the same specs as C9 Pro.

Samsung C9 Pro sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI on top. It is a dual SIM phone which comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB with a MicroSD card.

It is powered by a 4000mAh battery which is quite an unprecedented move as the Galaxy A9 Pro with same screen size launched earlier this year came with a 5000mAh battery. It also comes with fast charging support. Talking about the camera specs, Galaxy C9 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 16-megapixel front facing camera too.

The device also bears a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button. Talking about the other specs, the device features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 4.2. It comes in two colours  – Gold and Rose Gold.

Just before the launch, the Galaxy C9 Pro was listed on Chinese online retailer T-Mall revealing all the specs, design, and price of the phone. It is priced at 3199 Yuan (Rs 31670) and is already available for pre-order in China. It will go on sale starting from 11th November.
