Samsung Notebook 9 Series which was launched earlier this year at CES in January has got some updates. The Korean company has now added some additional features in this series.
The Notebook 9 Series comes with two different screen sizes of 13.3-inch and 15-inch. Both the notebooks feature ultra slim design, premium bezel-less display and reclines up to 180 degrees. These notebooks now come with an added layer of security with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The Notebook 9 Series also come with support for Windows Hello, which enables secure sign-in with a single touch.
Samsung has also updated the series with an adaptive fast charge and a USB Type-C port. The latest USB Type-C port enables the fast charging and also allow users to charge the notebook with cell phone charger. With fast charging, users can fully charge the Samsung Notebook 9 in 80 minutes, or get 2 hours of backup with just 20 minutes of charging.
The 15-inch Notebook 9 runs on Windows 10 and sports a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with memory options of 4GB and 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The storage option includes 128GB and 256GB of SSD.
Regarding connectivity options, it includes a USB Type-C port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, mini Ethernet, and a microSD port. The 15-inch Notebook 9 provides a battery backup up to 12 hours which comes with fast charging support.
The 13.3-inch Notebook 9 also comes with same specs as the 15-inch model. The 13.3-inch variant weighs 0.81Kg whereas the 15-inch variants weigh 0.98 Kg. Both the notebook also includes Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1, 1.5W X 2 Speakers, 720p camera, and an Internal Dual Array Digital Mic.
