Samsung Notebook Flash With Gigabit Wireless LAN Goes Official

The Samsung Notebook Flash is the newest laptop from the company that has been officially announced in South Korea. The 13.3-inch laptop features a retro-style keyboard and carries support for superfast wireless connectivity.

The Samsung Notebook Flash comes with a wide-angle 13.3-inch screen that produces full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen features an anti-glare coating. The device measures 322.2 x 219.5 x 16.9mm and weighs 1.37 kgs. It comes in multiple colors like Linen White, Twill Charcoal and Soft Coral.

The retro-fashioned keyboard of the Samsung Notebook Flash features curved keys that resemble an analog typewriter. A large-sized trackpad sits below the keyboard. The laptop is equipped with a pair of stereo speakers.

The Samsung Notebook Flash which is loaded with Windows 10 Home is fueled by the Intel Pentium Silver processor N5000. The processor is coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The laptop features SSD storage of 128 GB. Samsung has included some of its own software features such as Samsung Gallery, Samsung Recovery, Studio Plus, Secret Folder, etc.

One of the salient features of the Samsung Notebook Flash is support for up to 1.7 Gbps wireless LAN speeds thanks to the presence of Intel’s latest 802.11ac 2×2 Gigabit wireless LAN card.

The connectivity ports available on the Notebook Flash include HDMI, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, UFS storage card slot, headphone / microphone combo port and charging port. For security, Samsung has included a fingerprint scanner on the device. It also features a web camera.

The Samsung Notebook Flash carries a price tag of 820,000 Won (~Rs. 53,200). The new laptop will be available for purchase soon in South Korea. However, the exact release date is yet to be confirmed. There is no information on its availability outside of the home market at present.
