Samsung One UI Watch: top features

One UI Watch brings new user experience to Galaxy Watch users

According to Samsung, One UI Watch users who install watch-compatible apps on their smartphones will also be able to access these on their smartwatch. If a clock is customised to show the time of different cities on the phone, the same will be reflected on the watch. If a user blocks a call or message on a watch, they will be blocked on the connected smartphone as well.

Uses of Galaxy Watch with One UI Watch will be able to download and install popular third-party apps from the Google Play Store. Previously, Samsung smartwatches running Tizen OS did not provide users access to popular apps. One UI Watch users on the other hand will be able to install apps like Google Maps, YouTube Music, Spotify, Adidas Running, GOLFBUDDY, Smart Cradle, Strava,, Calm, and Sleep Cycle on their smartwatch.

The new UI also includes a new watch face design tool that will allow Android developers to build their own watch faces. This will provide Galaxy Watch users with more options to customise their smartwatches.
