Samsung has finally launched the Coral Blue colour variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge in India. This variant was launched a couple of months ago and was exclusive to the South Korean market. Samsung has also introduced a new “Black Pearl” colour to the S7 Edge in select markets after numerous leaks in the past.
The Coral Blue version of the S7 Edge is now officially available in India and is priced at Rs 50,900 for the 32GB variant. We are expecting this phone to be available online and in offline stores in a few days.
We had earlier reported the existence of the black variant of the S7 Edge following a leaked image. Unlike previous speculations, this colour variant is exclusive to the S7 Edge taking the colour count to 7 (Black Onyx, While Pearl, Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum, Pink Gold and Blue Coral, Black Pearl) for this particular model. The Black Pearl , however, is currently exclusive to a few markets and there is no mention of a global launch at the moment.
The two new colours were introduced by Samsung on its Note7 smartphone, which was pulled out of the market for safety concerns. The S7 Edge is a popular smartphone for Samsung and sports a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display. The smartphone maker had also updated the phone with the Always-On display feature recently. It sports the Exynos 8890 processor and has 4GB of RAM onboard making it one the most powerful smartphones currently on sale in India.
The Galaxy S7 Edge has a 12-megapixel “Dual Pixel” camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 5-megapixel front camera both with an f 1.7 aperture. It also packs in a 3600mAh non-removable battery and a Dual SIM slot.
