South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung has unveiled its new range of Ultra-High Definition (UHD) TVs for the online segment. The lineup is called as the Super 6 series and comes in three screen sizes of 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch.
Samsung’s new TV’s feature a 4K display with native 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution for better picture quality and viewing experience. The Live Cast feature is similar to a live stream where users can broadcast any live moment from any location to the TV by using their smartphone. Tune Station turns the TV into a virtual music system by enhancing the audio experience for immersive access to the playlist. With screen mirroring, consumers can stream content from their smartphone to the TV wirelessly. There is also an Unbox Lag-Free Gaming option that offers gamers a stutter-free gaming performance. The Super 6 Series TV’s offer more than 60,000 titles across international and national content in 10+ local languages. The TV’s also come with Smart Hub and Smart Convergence that allows consumers to pair their smartphone with the TV easily.

Pricing & Availability:
Samsung has priced the 43-inch model at Rs 41,990. The 50-inch and 55-inch variants carry a price tag of Rs 51,990 and Rs 61,990 respectively. The new line-up will be exclusively available online via Samsung Shop, Flipkart and Amazon from March 12th. While Flipkart will be selling all three sizes, Amazon will only sell the 50-inch model. As a part of the introductory offer, from March 12th-14th, buyers will be eligible for attractive offers and discounts on the Super 6 UHD series.
Samsung has priced its latest TV series quite attractively. It will be interesting to see how the company competes against Xiaomi’s Mi TV series in the online segment in India.
