Samsung The Frame 2021 TV has launched in India today. It is the successor to The Frame 2020 that debuted last year. The latest offering comes with various upgrades and features.
The mainstay of The Frame 2021 is that it can be turned into a digital art frame when not in use. Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Singh Arora, Senior Director of Samsung India said ‘With The Frame 2021, we are empowering our consumers to transform their living space with customizable bezel options, while also delivering brilliant picture quality through our QLED technology.’
Samsung The Frame 2021 TV specifications and features
Samsung The Frame 2021 TV is offered in four sizes – 43, 50, 55 and 65-inches featuring the brand’s QLED technology and a 100 percent colour gamut. The television is powered by a Quantum processor 4K and supports 4K AI upscaling capabilities. The Frame 2021 is said to be 46 percent thinner than its predecessor. Additionally, users also get the option to customise the colour of the TV’s bezel, choosing between White or Teak.
The Frame 2021 comes with an Art Mode that lets users choose and display over 1,400 digital artworks on the TV when it is not in use. The Art Store can be accessed for Rs 299 per month, or alternatively users can select an individual art piece for Rs 1,199. Users can also display their personal photographs by customising them with 5 different mat layout options and a palette of 16 different colours.
The Frame 2021 TV is equipped with a built-in motion and brightness sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness depending on the room’s ambient lighting. On the audio front, the television features SpaceFit Sound and Q-Symphony for a clear surround sound experience.
The Frame 2021 TV also supports Bixby and Alexa voice assistants. It lets users watch 2 screens at the same time. The television is compatible with SmartThings app, One Remote control and also AirPlay 2. It comes with Samsung TV Plus that offers free live streaming TV content.
Lastly, Samsung The Frame 2021 TV ships with a self-charging remote battery that can be charged by indoor lights.
Samsung The Frame 2021 price in India and launch offers
Samsung The Frame 2021 TV starts at Rs 61,990 for the base 43-inch variant. It will be available for purchase from Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung Shop from June 12th. Early bird customers will get a complementary bezel worth Rs 9,900 till June 21st. HDFC Bank debit and credit card users can avail a cashback of up to Rs 3,000 on no-cost EMI transactions.
