Samsung has launched its The Wall MicroLED display series in India. The large-format screen comes in three sizes from 146-inch in 4K resolution, 219-inch in 6K to 292-inch in 8K. The Wall is touted to offer an ultra-luxury viewing experience. Samsung had first showcased its largest MicroLED displays at CES this year. The South Korean brand refrains from calling them televisions. Samsung claims that The Wall offers an immersive viewing and ensures consumers experience never seen before picture quality with the 0.8mm pixel pitch technology. Notably, The Wall flaunts a bezel-less infinity design with customisable deco frames and a depth less than 30mm that allows the display to blend with the home interiors.

Samsung’s The Wall MicroLED display comes with AI upscaling, Quantum HDR technology, a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, and 120Hz video rate for a superior visual experience. Samsung says, “The Wall delivers a revolutionary viewing experience with true black, true colour, and Samsung’s AI picture enhancement, high brightness and contrasts in any luxury home, corporate or high-end retail environment”. The display has a 1,00,000-hour lifetime of self-light emitting diodes, which means you always have it turned on. The display can change into digital canvas matching the interior needs and personal mood. When the screen is not in use, the Ambient mode can also display curated art from paintings, photographs and video art to customisable photos as digital frames.
On the hardware front, The Wall is powered by the Quantum Processor Flex processor, which is equipped with the AI picture quality engine. It delivers optimised picture quality scene by scene regardless of the source resolution. The display can also be connected to any OS through a physical HDMI input.
Samsung is offering The Wall in two versions namely, ‘The Wall Luxury’ and ‘The Wall Pro’. The former is aimed towards home cinema and gaming with Ambient and Entertainment mode and has all the relevant smart TV features, and it has a display controller. The screen of the TV is cane be easily adapted for various use cases. As for The Wall Pro, the display is aimed at high-end businesses and retail spaces. It is designed to modernize any corporate lobby, museum, or art gallery.

The price of Samsung’s The Wall in India starts from Rs 3.5 crore for the base variant, which goes up to Rs 12 crore (exclusive of taxes) for the most high-end model. The MicroLED display will be available for purchase in the country from December 5th.
