Samsung has launched a new range of Smart TV’s under the ‘Unbox Magic Every day’ campaign. The TV lineup consists of as many as 8 models ranging from a 32-inch model up to an 82-inch TV, with resolutions between HD to 4K UHD. The TVs come with a host of industry-first benefits that fall under ‘Make in India’ initiative
The new Samsung TV range is available for purchase at all Samsung Smart Plazas and leading consumer electronic stores with prices starting at Rs 24,900 for the 32-inch model.
As for the features, the smart TV’s come with an Unbox Personal Computer feature where users will be able to turn their smart TV into a personal computer for a full-fledged computing experience. Users can also mirror their laptop on the smart TV wirelessly without an internet connection. The TVs also provide remote access to a PC or laptop from any location over the internet to complete any unfinished work from the convenience of your home. The smart TVs come with multi-layered Knox security and offer access to Microsoft Office 365 over the cloud.
Samsung TVs also work as a virtual music system by offering a library of skins with different color options. For an enhanced audio/visual experience, the TV can be clubbed with an external speaker. With Unbox Home Cloud, the pictures and videos on your smartphone are transferred automatically and wirelessly without an internet connection to the USB drive connected to the TV. Initially, users have to sync the TV and smartphone and the data will get automatically synced the next the handset comes in proximity to the TV. The same content can be shared wirelessly to other smartphones via the TV.
The TVs also offers a Live Cast feature that allows users to stream live moments from any remote location to their Smart TV over the internet. The Two Way Sharing feature enables sharing content between the TV and smartphone without internet. Samsung’s new TV range also comes with Smart Hub which offers access to live TV, apps and other sources.
With Samsung’s latest lineup of televisions, the company aims to compete against Xiaomi which has taken the Indian television market by storm. Last month, the South Korean giant launched the Super6 UHD TV lineup in the country.
