Samsung has just unveiled three new smartphones from Galaxy A-Series. These phones are Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), and Galaxy A3 (2017). The Korean company was teasing about these phones from the last couple of weeks and finally, today unveiled the phones. Earlier, it was rumoured that the company will launch these phones at CES 2017 but unveiled 2 days before instead.
The Galaxy A3 (2017) is the smallest and affordable choice among these smartphones. It sports a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB with a MicroSD card. It has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper for capturing selfies. The phone packs in a 2,350mAh battery and is expected to priced at Rs 20,000.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7880 processor clocked at 1.87GHz. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has a 16MP camera on front and back and packs in a 3,330mAh battery coupled with fast-charging technology. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is expected to be priced around Rs 25,499.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an Exynos 7880 chipset paired with Mali-T830 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 3600mAh battery. It is expected to be priced at Rs 28,499.
As the company promised in the teasers, all of these phones come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistant. The phones will be available pre-order in the UK starting from 20th January. The Galaxy A 2017 series is expected to be launched in India before the end of January.
