Japan-based consumer electronics manufacturer Sharp has unveiled a new car air purifier for the Indian market. The company has expanded its air purifier lineup with the launch of the FP-JC2M-B. Customers can purchase the new car air purifier for Rs 16,500 from offline retailers across the country.
The Sharp FP-JC2M-B uses carbon filters to eliminate PM2.5 and other dangerous toxic particles. The FP-JC2M-B is equipped with Sharp’s own Plasmacluster technology that provides clean and fresh air inside by reducing toxic fumes, gases, molds, and reduces static electricity. The air purifier claims to deliver a CADR of 0.54 cubic meters per minute.
The FP-JC2M-B has a coverage area of 3.6 cubic meters and is compatible in all cars and SUVs. For maximum output, the device can be placed on the backrest or armrest with the provided belt. The car air purifier is powered by a 12V car adapter. It features four operation modes – Auto, Low, Medium, and High which depend on the driving situation. The PM10 Pre Filter is washable and can be used for a lifetime. The carbon embedded dust filter and chemical filter have a one-year life span and can be easily replaced when needed. The Sharp FP-JC2M-B is a compact car accessory and measures just 1.1kg on a weighing scale. It features a clean air indicator and odour sensor with a light dimmer option available.
