Sharp KC-G40M: specifications and features

Sharp KC-G40M launched in India

The Sharp KC-G40M is an air purifier cum humidifier and works through a combination of Passive HEPA and PANDAA filters which can provide it up to 5 years of life. The appliance also has a fine-meshed PM10 filter. The humidity (~60 percent RH) of the room is managed by these filters and they also help in conserving energy by letting the device run at a temperature range between 25-degrees to 27-degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the filter combination works to eliminate PM2.5, pollen, substances like Toluene, Ethyl Benzene and other Haze compounds. An Active Plasmacluster technology helps by abolishing VOC, gases, toxic fumes and numerous pathogens.

The USP of the home appliance, according to Sharp, is its Humidifying function. It creates an optimum humidity level via the natural evaporation technique which maintains body hydration. The offering can purify a space of 350 square feet and works the best in air-conditioned surroundings. It has been certified by the British Allergy Foundation and reportedly helps to prevent asthma, allergy and other respiratory diseases.

The condition of the room is managed by the temperature, humidity, power consumption display, PM 2.5 and odour sensors. The Sharp KC-G40M weighs 9.2 kgs and has a unique light sensor as well.
