Sony HT-S400 soundbar features and specifications

The HT-S400’s front speakers feature an X-Balanced Speaker Unit, which has a unique rectangular shape that maximizes the diaphragm and reduces driver excursion while maintaining sound pressure; this results in less distortion and greater vocal clarity. The Separated Notch Edge design – the front speakers have strategically placed cuts on the edges – helps improve vertical amplitude symmetry, which is essential for clear sound quality.

The wireless subwoofer with the HT-S400 comes with a large 160mm speaker unit that ensures deep and rich bass. Sony’s S-Force PRO Front Surround technology uses just the front speakers to virtually reproduce the surround sound field and enjoy cinematic surround sound without the hassle of multiple speakers and wires.

Furthermore, the Sony HT-S400 comes with a simple remote designed to fit in the hand comfortably and a convenient OLED display window on the soundbar, which offers at-a-glance information as the volume level, input source, and sound settings. There is also BRAVIA TV integration, through which you can control the sound settings and volume of the soundbar via your BRAVIA TV’s remote control.
