Sony Launches X9500G Series Flagship 75-inch TV In India: Price, Specifications

Sony today has launched a large screen TV packed with various features. It is called the Sony KD-75X9500G and bears a premium price tag. The TV is claimed to offer the best in class picture and vibrant shades of colour. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications below:

Specs & Features:

The Sony KD-75X9500G boasts a large 75-inch display bearing a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. The TV is equipped with an X1 Ultimate Picture Processor for providing the ultimate 4K HDR viewing experience. It is paired with Object-Based Super Resolution and improved Object-Based HDR Remaster which is claimed to deliver a high-quality picture with accurate details and contrast by intelligently detecting and analysing each object in the picture. With a full array of LEDs with Local Dimming and X-tended Dynamic Range PRO, this TV is capable of providing up to six times the contrast of conventional LEDs. The Sony KD-75X9500G features an X-Wide Angle technology that ensures consumers can view the screen from any angle. The TV comes with various picture mode like Netflix Calibrated mode, vivid, standard, cinema, game, graphics, photo, Dolby Vision Bright, Dolby Vision Dark, etc.

As for the audio, the Sony KD-75X9500G is equipped with an Acoustic Multi-Audio system with two sound positioning tweeters in the rear and a bass reflex speaker for sound-from-picture quality. The TV is also equipped with Dolby Atmos, which will be pushed with a future firmware update.

The Sony KD-75X9500G flaunts a minimalistic design. The display is surrounded by thin bezels and a frame as well. The frame colour is black, while the stand is Dark Silver in colour.

The Sony KD75X9500G is an Android TV and runs Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It packs 16GB internal memory. The TV has a built-in microphone with support for Google Assistant for hands-free voice search and easy navigation. Connectivity-wise, the Sony KD75X9500G comes with a host of ports including 4 HDMI inputs, 3 USB ports, 1 Audio in/out, Video in and a headphone out. The TV comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support as well. There is also an Ethernet port which acts as a fallback option in case of Wi-Fi failure.

Sony has priced its latest flagship TV at Rs 4,49,990. It is available for purchase in all Sony Centers and electronics stores across India.
