The Sony Xperia Ace 2 has launched in Japan. The compact form factor is the major highlight of this smartphone. On the front, it features a waterdrop notch display and its back panel has a dual-camera system.

The Ace 2 is driven by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and 4GB of RAM. It has a built-in storage of 64GB, and it has a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device runs Android 11. The Xperia Ace II has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The vertical camera array on its back has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Xperia Ace II is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which can be charged through the USB Type-C port. Sony claims that the battery can remain in healthy condition even after using it for 3 years. The other features that can be found on the Ace 2 are dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Xperia Ace 2 has arrived in Japan with a price tag of JPY 22,000 (~Rs 14,700). It comes in three colours such as black, white, and blue. At present, it is unclear whether the Japanese firm has any plans to launch it outside Japan.
