It’s been a year since Sony launched its last phone. Sony launched Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia X Performance early this year in February at MWC 2016. Now, as the MWC 2017 is near, it seems like the Japenese smartphone maker is planning to come up with another Xperia smartphone.
A recent leak by a famous leakster Onleaks reveals a render of a Sony Xperia series smartphone which is yet to be officially announced by the Sony. The phone is said to sport a 5-inch display but it is yet to confirmed whether it will be a HD (1280×720 pixels) display or a Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. The phone dimensions are expected to be 145 x 66.8 x 7.99mm and it is also expected to house a USB Type-C port.
All the other specs including battery, camera, processor, and RAM are not revealed yet. As of now, we just have to wait till MWC 2016 to get to see the phone and know about all the specs.
Looking at the renders, the phones appears to be in full-metal unibody design with a standard single camera at back. The phone also houses a dedicated shutter button as most of the Xperia series smartphones. It also has the same round power button following the typical design philosophy of Sony.
