To all the Super Mario fans out there, your wait is finally over! Nintendo has at last released the much-awaited Super Mario Run for iOS. The game is now available to download for all iPhone and iPad users. To recall, Apple, during the iPhone 7 launch, had announced this game to be available on Apple App Store before the end of 2016. Android users, however, need not worry as it will hit Google Play Store in 2017; no exact timeline is known, though.
Super Mario Run for iOS includes a free demo and users require to pay $9.99 to gain full access. The cost may seem expensive, but on a positive note, there is no freemium material or in-app purchases inside. Meaning, once you pay the full amount, you will have a full access to the game.
As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, Mario consistently keeps moving forward without any manual intervention. All you have to do is tap the screen to make Mario jump, collect coins, avoid enemies, and reach the goal. You will have three different types of modes to choose from — World Tour, Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder.
Talking about the World Tour mode, players need to clear stages and unlock new worlds. The Toad Rally mode, on the other hand, allows players compete against others’ best times. Last but not the least, the Kingdom Builder is all about building your ‘Mushroom Kingdom’ using coins collected in previous modes.
Even though Super Mario Run is not available for Android at this moment, we would want Android users to wait for the official release, especially to block the high risk of rising malware related security problems. Be safe!
