The much-awaited Super Mario Run has finally arrived on Google Play Store for Android users. But hey! You can’t download it yet as you have to hold your excitement for some time to be able to install and play it on your phone. Yes, we are not kidding. In fact, the Super Mario Run page is already up on Play Store with no way to download it.
You will find there an option to ‘Pre-register’ for the actual game. Meaning, you will receive a notification on your device when the app is released. You can even rollback anytime you want by clicking the ‘Unregister’ button. The game is expected to hit Google Play Store sometime next year, However, no exact time is known as of now, though.
Talking about the actual gameplay, Super Mario Run can be played using one hand. It is simple, isn’t it? After all, Mario consistently moves forward on its own through the courses and all you can do as a player is use different jumps to navigate, gather coins, and reach the goal.
Super Mario Run is based on three modes — World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder. In World Tour, you can unlock new worlds by clearing different stages you come across. Toad Rally is all about competing with other players’ highest scores. Lastly, you can build your own kingdom using over 100 items in Kingdom Builder.
It should be noted that only a part of Super Mario Run will be available for free and you will require paying for complete access. Interestingly, there will be no additional in-app purchases and hidden costs involved.
Super Mario Run is already available to download for all iPhone and iPad users. It includes free demo and users must pay the one-time fee of $9.99 to clear out the limited access.
