Swipe has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone dubbed Swipe Elite 3 in India, as expected. The Flipkart-exclusive Swipe Elite 3 comes in Champagne Gold and Space Grey colour options and costs Rs 5,499. Swipe recently launched the Elite Konnect Star in the country, retailing for Rs 3,799. In terms of aesthetics, the Swipe Elite 3 measures 142.1 mm at height, 72.1 mm at width, and 9.1mm at thickness. That said, the phone is certainly not as slim as most of the affordable and mid-range phones out there. It should not be much of a problem considering its price, though.
The Swipe Elite 3 has a 5-inch display up front, featuring 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. Powering the phone is a Spreadtrum SC9832 chip clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with Mali-400 GPU to accommodate graphics. Inside are also 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, which can expand up to 32GB using microSD. Furthermore, it bundles two SIM card slots and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It houses an 8MP rear shooter with LED flash as well as a 5MP front snapper for capturing selfies.
The Swipe Elite 3 packs a 2500mAh battery under the hood. Moving on, there are various connectivity options available such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
