Indian cell phone brand Swipe expanded its affordable “Konnect” line in India with a new phone — Swipe Konnect Grand. The phone comes in black colour option and is available to purchase from an e-commerce site Shopclues for Rs 2,999. Last month, the company launched Swipe Konnect 4G which is retailing for Rs 2,799.
On the specifications front, Swipe Konnect Grand is a Dual-SIM handset that comes with two Mini SIM slots and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Up front, 854 x 480 pixels are stretched across a 5-inch screen, making up for smaller 196 ppi pixel density. Powering it is a 1.2GHz quad-core chipset and Mali-400 GPU.
Internally, the phone embraces 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone supports networks i.e. 2G/3G/4G with voice calling over high-speed LTE (Long-Term Evolution) connectivity. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and microUSB 2.0.
Swipe Konnect Grand measures 7.15 x 0.84 x 14.3 mm and weighs 1.5g. It houses a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and digital zoom. Up front, it features a 2MP secondary camera for selfies. It packs in a 2500mAh battery which is claimed to offer 8 to 10 hours talk time and 180 hours standby time.
