Tata Nexon competitor, Mahindra XUV400 EV, will come in three variants

Mahindra unveiled its hotly anticipated XUV400 EV back in September of this year. However, interested customers will not be able to get it until at least January 2023. The EV would go up against the Tata Nexon EV and its variants. Although Mahindra didn’t reveal any variants of the forthcoming XUV400, a leaked RTO document has disclosed details on the XUV400’s variants.

According to the leaked RTO document, the XUV400 will arrive in three variants: Base, EP, and EL. The variations will most likely differ in functionality and mechanical components and will be priced accordingly. Besides, Mahindra intends to begin test drives by December 2022, and the pricing will be announced in January 2023.

Mahindra XUV400 Features and Specifications

The Mahindra XUV400 is said to get a 39.4kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor that can produce up to 150PS of peak power and 310Nm of peak torque. It is expected to deliver 456km of range on a single charge.

The upcoming XUV400 is expected to include connected features such as smartwatch control, machine learning-based intelligent route selection, climate control, and steering-mounted audio controls. In addition, it is said to feature a single-pane sunroof, a rear parking camera and sensor, six airbags, and other safety features.

The XUV400 is said to arrive in Arctic Blue, Everest White, Napoli Black, Infinity Blue, and Galaxy Grey colour options.
