The Tata Sky Binge app is finally available for download through Google Play Store and App Store. Earlier this year, there was a report that the Tata Sky Binge will be made available for personal devices including smartphones and tablets soon. Now, Tata Sky users can simply head to their respective app stores and download the Tata Sky Binge app and start streaming.
Along with the app, Tata Sky has also announced a new mobile-only plan worth Rs 149 in addition to the existing Rs 299 monthly plan for its users. With the new mobile app, Tata Sky users will no longer be restricted to watching Binge+ content only on their TVs. Here are all details of the Tata Sky Binge app and the newly launched mobile-only plan.
Tata Sky Bing app now available for mobile platforms
The Tata Sky Binge app is particularly designed for Tata Sky users, who have signed up for the Binge OTT service and want to enjoy the content on their mobile devices as well. Users can simply download the app and sign up using their Tata Sky registered mobile number of Tata Sky subscriber ID.
Once signed up, users will be able to watch content from up to 10 OTT platforms on their handset. The content will be curated into various categories including New Releases, Popular Movies, and Trending Now. There’s also a unified search within the app, which lets users find content across various OTT platform as per their preferred language or genre.
The app also offers additional convenience of a single sign-in access to all OTT platforms except for Disney+ Hotstar. For Disney+ Hotstar, users need to first sign in to the Binge app and then log in separately to Disney+ Hotstar.
Tata Sky Binge app plans
As mentioned before, Tata Sky has launched a new Rs 149 mobile-only monthly plan for the Binge app users. The plan offers access to seven OTT apps including Eros Now, Hungama Play, Shemaroo Me, SonyLiv, Voot Kids, Voot Select, and ZEE5. With this plan users can access OTT content on up to three mobile devices.
In case users want to access their Tata Sky Binge account on TV as well as mobile devices, they can opt for the Rs 299 monthly plan. This plan offers access to 10 OTT apps on one TV and up to three mobile devices. The 10 OTT apps include CuriosityStream, Disney+ Hotstar, and SunNXT in addition to the seven included with the mobile-only plan. However, SunNXT can only be accessed on TV.
Tata Sky is offering a seven-day free trial with both plans.
