Tata Sky DTH recharge offers 2021: how to get 2 months cashback on recharge of 12 months

Tata Sky has been wooing customers with various kinds of offers as one of its strategies to maintain its user base. Last week. it introduced a new cashback offer that brings 2 months of cashback on recharge of 12 months. The new Tata Sky recharge offers are available for credit and debit card users of HDFC Bank, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of Baroda.

Tata Sky is one of the major DTH service providers in India. A recent market survey by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) that it led the market in the second quarter of the year with a market share of 32.09 percent.

Tata Sky cashback offer

To take advantage of the cashback offer, users will need to recharge their Tata Sky account with an amount that is 12 times or more than his/her monthly recharge. If the subscriber is not sure about the correct recharge amount, he/she can simply enter a smaller amount (for example, Rs 100) to see a pop-up with the correct amount for the annual recharge cashback offer. Users will get 1-month cashback in their Tata Sky account within 48 hours.

Tata Sky Bank recharge offers

Similar to Tata Sky cashback offer, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Deutsche Bank customers can avail cashback upon recharging for 12 months or more. However, these bank customers will get 2-months cashback instead of one. Customers will be provided with the cashback amount in two parts. One month of cashback will be credited to the user’s Tata Sky account within 48 hours and the remaining cashback will be credited within 7 working days.

While HDFC Bank customers can only avail the offer till January 25th, 2021, the other two banks will continue offering the cashback till March 31st, 2021. The offer can be availed only on Tata Sky website or app.

Tata Sky LazyPay recharge offer

LazyPay is a credit-lending app that lets users order now and pay later. Those recharging their Tata Sky plan for the first time using the LazyPay will receive flat Rs 75 cashback on a minimum recharge of Rs 349. This offer is valid from January 1st to January 31st.

Those recharging between January 1st and 15th will get the cashback on the January 20th. Users who avail the offer from January 16th to 31st, will receive cashback on 5th of the following month i.e. February. The cashback will be adjusted to the outstanding amount on LazyPay.

PayZapp is a digital wallet platform offered by HDFC Bank. Tata Sky customers who use PayZapp to recharge their Tata Sky account with Rs 400 or more, will get a cashback of Rs 30 in their PayZapp account. The offer is valid till January 31st and is applicable on Tata Sky Mobile App, and Scan and Pay using PayZapp. The cashback will be credited to the user’s PayZapp account within 60 working days, provided the user has finished KYC.

Tata Sky MobiKwik recharge offer

One of the leading mobile wallet platforms, MobiKwik is offering 10 percent cashback up to Rs 50 on Tata Sky recharges to its users. In order to avail the offer, users need to use code ‘MKTSKY’ on MobiKwik payment page and recharge with a minimum of Rs 300. The cashback will auto-credited to MobiKwik wallet within 24 hours. The offer is only for KYC-compliant users and is valid once per user. Interested user can avail the offer till January 31st, 2021.

Tata Sky recharge offers: terms and conditions

The annual recharge cashback offer is only available on recharges done through Tata Sky’s website and mobile app. This offer is valid until the end of the year. Recharges done on the activation day of the Tata Sky account will not be eligible for this offer. In addition, subscribers who have annual/semi-annual long duration packs do not qualify for the annual recharge cashback offer.

In related news, Tata Sky has recently teamed up with SonyLIV to brings its streaming content through its Binge platform. Apart from SonyLIV, the Tata Sky Binge platform also gives to various other OTT services like Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar Premium, Eros Now, Sun Nxt, and more.

Next up is Tata Sky+ HD which is priced at Rs 4,999 and offers features like recording up to three shows or programs simultaneously, 500GB storage for show recordings, web apps, and ability to rewind, forward or pause live shows.

Lastly, the HD and SD set-top boxes are priced at Rs 1,599 and Rs 1,499, respectively. However, as part of an offer both are available for Rs 1,499 for a limited duration. The HD set-top box offers 1080i resolution, Dolby Digital Surround sound, and 16:9 aspect ratio, whereas the SD offering shows content in standard resolution.

Tata Sky also offers over 600 channels starting as low as 0.12 Rs per month. The TDH provider also offers Tata Sky packs starting from Rs 67 per month and Broadcaster packs starting at Rs 17.70 per month. Customers can also choose from various regional, add-on, and mini packs or make their own channel packs.
