TCL C825, C728 and C725 smart TVs have launched in India. The latest offerings fall under the brand’s 2021 C-series. The televisions pack premium specifications and features.
All three TCL C-series smart TVs come with mini-LED and QLED displays. The C825 is also the first television with a mini-LED display in India. The televisions come with a high refresh rate, an Onkyo sound system, and more. Let’s take a look at what the smart TVs offer out of the box.
TCL C825 specifications and features
The TCL C825 smart TV is offered in 55 and 65-inches with a mini-LED display bearing a 4K resolution. It is loaded with full-array local dimming, 110 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1,000 nits peak brightness and QiPQ picture engine. The television features a 120Hz refresh rate with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and MEMC support. It also comes with a 1080p magnetic magic camera that works with Google Duo for video calling. The camera also supports gesture controls.
On the audio front, the TCL C825 is IMAX Enhanced certified. It is equipped with an ONKYO sound system that includes front-firing speakers and a woofer with support for Dolby Atmos.
The TCL C825 is powered by a MediaTek MT9615 processor. It runs on the latest Android 11 OS with built-in Google Assistant and Alexa for hands-free voice control. The television comes with Game Master and features like ALLM, VRR, and Freesync for a better gaming experience. The TCL C825 supports up to two mobile phone displays at the same time. Users can also control smart home devices with the television.
Connectivity options on the TCL C825 include four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, LAN port, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.2.
TCL C728 and C725 specifications and features
The TCL C728 and C725 smart TVs share most of the same specifications. Both televisions sport a 4K QLED display with Quantum Dot technology and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and MEMC. The C728 features a 120Hz refresh rate while the C725 comes with a 60Hz panel. Both televisions are equipped with dual stereo ONKYO speakers and Dolby Audio.
Under the hood, the TCL C728 is powered by an A73 processor while the C725 is equipped with an A55 SoC. There is Ai PQ picture engine on both TVs that detects the environment and upscales display and audio. Software-wise, the televisions run on the latest Android R with built-in Google Assistant and Alexa. Like the TCL C825, the C728 and C725 also come with Game Master and other gaming-related features.
The TCL C728 and C725 come with three HDMI 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2.
TCL C825, C728 and C725 price in India
The TCL C825 costs Rs 1,14,990 and Rs 1,49,990 for the 55 and 65-inch variants. The C728 starts at Rs 79,990 for the 55-inch option while the 65 and 75-inch models are priced at Rs 1,02,990 and Rs 1,59,990. Lastly, the C725 carries a price tag of Rs 64,990, Rs 72,990, and Rs 99,999 for 50, 55 and 65-inch variants.
The TCL C825 and C725 will be available for purchase from Amazon and Reliance Digital starting July 7th. The sale date of TCL C728 is not known at the moment.
