TCL 55-inch P8E 4K AI Android 9 TV Launched In India For Rs 40,990

TCL has launched India’s first 4K UHD AI Android 9 55-inch TV with hands-free voice search. The appliance has been launched during the Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale. The television is named “P8E” and comes as an Amazon exclusive. It has been priced at Rs 40,990.

TCL P8E: specifications and features

The P8E 4K UHD Android TV relies on a quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The television supports HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, WIFI 2.4G and Bluetooth. It runs Android 9 Pie and users can download various apps through the Google Play Store. The P8E TV is further laced with far-field technology in terms of AI voice command which helps it in determining a user’s voice from a distance.

The television can also be connected to other smart home devices like lights, robot sweepers etc. The AI Algorithm present inside the appliance adjusts the brightness, contrast and saturation of the display. It also handles the speaker volume and signal strength. The TCL Channel provides access to 950,000+ content provisions including movies, series, live shows, sports, etc. The appliance is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
