Smartphone manufacturer Blackberry which was once known for making secure and robust smartphones had already stopped making them and passed on the torch to TCL. The company signed a deal with TCL which will build and sell the smartphone with the brand name Blackberry. And, Blackberry Mercury is going to be the first phone to be built by TCL with Blackberry branding.
Recently, TCL put a short video teaser online for the upcoming phone Blackberry Mercury with QWERTY keypad. Steve Cistulli, President and General Manager for TCL Communication (TCT), North America – posted a short 4 seconds video on Twitter showcasing the phone’s physical QWERTY keypad.

According to earlier rumours, the device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset whereas the recent rumours claim the device to be powered by Snapdragon 625 instead. Talking about the other specs, the device is rumoured to sport a 4.5-inch Full HD display and a decently large battery.
We’re speculating this device to be unveiled at CES 2017 as TCL has promised to offer a “glimpse into what new BlackBerry smartphones will offer.” The company has also promised that it “will unveil an evolutionary first in the mobile industry” at CES 2017.
