Tecno has expanded its range of smartphones in India with the launch of the Camon 12 Air. The phone has arrived as a budget offering with a triple camera setup at the rear. The Camon 12 Air is the company’s first smartphone to flaunt a punch hole inside the display to house the selfie camera. The phone has landed in India following the launch of the Tecno Spark 4, which is also a pocket-friendly offering with a triple rear camera setup.

The Tecno Camon 12 Air sports a 6.55-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio P22 processor that offers a clock speed of 2.0GHz. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be further increased up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card. Software-wise, the phone boots HiOS 5.5, which is based on Android 9 Pie. For security, the handset has a fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the rear panel.
In the camera department, the Tecno Camon 12 Air sports a 12MP primary camera , which is accompanied by a 2MP secondary snapper, a 5MP third camera, and a quad LED-flash unit. As for the recently launched Tecno Spark 4, the phone is available Rs 7,999 for the base variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB of storage and for Rs 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model.
