Tecno Camon 18i has been launched in Nigeria. It has arrived as a new addition to the Camon 18 lineup, which already includes three models such as Camon 18, Camon 18P, and Camon 18 Premier. According to a report by Droid Africa, the Camon 18i is just a rebranded version of the Camon 17 phone that debuted earlier this year.

The Camon 18i has a big display that offers a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a mid-range gaming-focused chipset. For photography, it features a 48-megapixel triple camera unit, and it has a dual-LED flash enabled front-facing camera. It is packed with a big battery.

The Camon 18i has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It sports a 90Hz refresh rate. The device runs HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11.
The Helio G85 chip is at the helm of the Camon 18i. It offers users 4GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through a microUSB 2.0 port.
The Camon 18i has a dual-LED flash assisted 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel has a 48-megapixel triple camera unit, which is assisted by a quad-LED flash unit. It supports 4K video recording.
A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear shell of the Camon 18i. The other specs of the phone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Camon 18i has arrived in Nigeria with a price tag of NGN 84,500 (~Rs 15,300). Tecno is yet to introduce its Camon 18 series in India. Hence, it is unclear whether the Camon 18i will be arriving in the country.
