Tecno Phantom V Flip India launch timeframe has been tipped by leakster Paras Guglani. Earlier this year, Tecno Mobile India CEO Arijeet Talapatra revealed in an interview that its flip-style foldable phone will debut in the third quarter of 2023. However, as per the new leak, it will be announced in the last quarter of 2023 in India. There is a possibility that the flip phone may debut first in the global market before making its way to India.
For those who don’t know, the Phantom V Flip, which has the AD11 model number, has already acquired certifications from the Bluetooth SIG and the FCC. According to reports, the Tecno Phantom V Flip will be equipped with a 6.75-inch foldable AMOLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to come with 256 GB of built-in storage and run on Android 13 with a layer of HiOS 13 on top. For security, it may feature a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
The Phantom V Flip is expected to feature the Dimensity 8050 chipset and a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device may come equipped with 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM. The circular camera island on the V Flip’s back is said to feature a 64-megapixel main camera. It is not clear whether the device has a cover display. For selfies, the device is said to be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.

Tecno’s horizontally foldable smartphone, the Phantom V Fold, which starts at Rs 88,888, is way more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which debuted last year with a starting price of Rs 1,54,999. Hence, it is likely that the Phantom V Flip will carry an affordable price tag. There is a possibility that it could be priced at around Rs 50,000.
