- Tecno Phantom Vision V is a concept phone with a rollable screen
- It has a triple-camera unit on the back
- A secondary display is also available on the rear shell
Tecno Phantom Vision V, a concept phone with a foldable design, has been revealed in a report by GSMArena. There is no official confirmation of the existence of the concept phone. The high-resolution renders shared by the publication revealed that the Phantom Vision V would be a unique foldable phone featuring a new rollable sliding screen.
The renders show that the Phantom Vision V looks like a regular smartphone in its folded state. When it is opened, and its display is expanded, it can offer a large screen space, like a tablet. Since it is a concept device, there is no word on its specifications.

The Phantom Vision V foldable smartphone has a single rollable screen. In the folded state, 1/3 of the screen remains on the front and functions as a cover display. Since it is a single screen, it folds at the edge, and its remaining portion is present inside.
When the device is opened, the rollable screen expands in such a way that the portion of the display that is on the front starts moving on the inside. So, when the device is fully opened, there is no cover display available, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 5, OPPO Find N2, and other foldable phones. The report states that the inner display can offer a screen area of 10.1 inches when it is fully opened.
Moving on to the back, the Phantom Vision V offers a triple camera unit and a secondary display for checking notifications and Always-on-Display (AOD) contents. The report states that the Phantom Vision V has 11 functional layers and an aerospace-grade titanium chassis for flexibility and durability.
Tecno may not release the Phantom Vision V on the market because it is a concept device. However, the company may showcase the design, probably at the MWC 2023 tech exhibition next month. While the Phantom Vision V is a concept model, the company could be working on a regular foldable phone called the Phantom V. Last month, the said device, with model number AD10, was approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority. It is unclear whether the Bluetooth SIG listing belongs to the concept model or a regular foldable phone from the brand.
