TECNO is all set to unveil its Phantom X2 on December 7 in Dubai. It is the successor of the Phantom X, launched in May of this year. Recently the company revealed some key details about the forthcoming smartphone. Such as it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and will feature an Eagle Eye lens camera technology.

Along with the official announcement, some rumours are floating around about the design and specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Besides, the upcoming flagship lineup from TECNO is expected to include Phantom X2 and X2 Pro.

According to leaked images of the TECNO Phantom X2, the smartphone will have a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is expected to house a 32MP selfie camera on the front. Around the display, the alleged Phantom X2 is expected to flaunt a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. It is also said that the smartphone will have a gimbal camera for stabilization which will also work as an ultrawide sensor.

The new leak also reveals that the Dimensity 9000 chipset will be clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is expected to run on HiOS 12 on top of Android 12 out of the box. Besides, it is likely to pack in a large 5,100mAh battery with USB Type-C fast charging support.

TECNO Phantom X, the predecessor of the forthcoming smartphone, was launched at Rs 25,999. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio G95 chipset and flaunts a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
