Tecno POP 5 LTE has been launched in India. It is the first device under the brand’s POP lineup. The smartphone is an affordable offering and falls under the sub-Rs 7,000 segment.

The Tecno POP 5 LTE had launched in the Asian markets last November. However, the Indian variant comes with slightly different specifications. The Tecno POP 5 LTE features a 6.5-inch display with an HD+ resolution, 480 nits brightness, and 120Hz touch sampling rate. There is a waterdrop notch on the top and a slightly thicker chin at the bottom. The smartphone comes with a dual-tone back panel housing a rectangular camera module. It is also IPX4 certified splash-resistant.
The Tecno POP 5 LTE has a dual rear camera setup of an 8MP primary sensor paired with an AI lens. There is a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper along with face unlock support since the device lacks a fingerprint scanner.
Internally, the Tecno POP 5 LTE is powered by an unspecified processor. It packs 2GB RAM and 32GB native storage expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The device is backed by a large 5,000mAh battery unit. The Tecno POP 5 LTE runs on Android 11 Go with HiOS 7.6 skinned on the top. It comes with support for 14 regional languages

The Tecno POP 5 LTE costs Rs 6,299 as a part of special launch price. It is offered in Ice Blue, Deepsea Luster and Turquoise Cyan colours and will be available for purchase from Amazon starting January 16th.
