Tecno POP 5S has been launched in Mexico. It is the latest offering in the brand’s POP lineup of smartphones. Tecno also offers POP 5X, POP 5C, POP 5 Pro, and POP 5 smartphones.

The Tecno POP 5S has a 5.7-inch LCD display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The screen is surrounded by thick bezels and the device offers an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio. The back panel sports a rectangular camera module housing a 5MP main sensor paired with an AI lens and LED flash. The device features a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper with support for face unlock.
Internally, the Tecno POP 5S is powered by a Unisoc SC98632E quad-core processor ticking at 1.4GHz. It packs 2GB RAM and 32GB native storage The smartphone is backed by a 3,020mAh battery unit. Software-wise, it runs on Android 10 Go Edition out of the box.
Connectivity options on the Tecno POP 5S include a microUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2.
Tecno POP 5S pricing and availability
The Tecno POP 5S is offered in Light Purple and Deep Blue colours. It carries a price tag of MXN 2,239 (~Rs 8,111) in Mexico. There is no word yet on the international availability of the smartphone.
