Tecno Pop 7 will be launching soon. The reason behind it is that the device has been spotted in the Google Play Console with some of its key specifications and a render that reveals its front design. The Pop 7 with model number “BF6” has been previously spotted at Geekbench and certification platforms, such as FCC, Bluetooth, EEC, and NBTC.
Last month, Tecno unveiled the Tecno Pop 7 Pro smartphone with a starting price of Rs 6,799. The non-Pro, which is expected to launch soon, will be positioned below the Pop 7 Pro. However, at present, there is no clarity as to whether the device will be released in India.

Tecno Pop 7 Google Play Console listing
The image of the Tecno Pop 7 that has appeared in the database of Google Play Console reveals that it has a teardrop notch display. The listing further reveals that it has an HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) screen with a 320 dpi screen density, the Unisoc SC9863A, and 2GB of RAM. Considering the amount of RAM onboard, it appears that the device will come preloaded with Android 12 (Go edition).
When the Pop 7 showed up on Geekbench in October 2022, it had the same chipset, RAM, and version of Android. The device’s EEC and NBTC certifications, which came out in November and January, only said what it was called and what model number it was. When the device’s Bluetooth SIG listing came out in January, it showed that it would support Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.
In December 2022, the FCC authority certified the Tecno Pop 7. The FCC certification has revealed that the device will arrive with 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and 10W charging. Apart from WiFi and Bluetooth, the device will also support 4G LTE connectivity.
Shown above is a rear schematic of the Tecno Pop 7 that surfaced in FCC. As can be seen, the device will be sporting a massive square-shaped camera module, which may house a dual-camera setup, an LED flash, and a fingerprint sensor like its predecessor, the Tecno Pop 6. The FCC listing also states that the Pop 7 will measure 164 x 74 x 8mm.
While the other details of the Tecno Pop 7 are under wraps, it is quite evident that it will be an entry-level offering.
