Tecno Spark 8 is now available in a new variant. The smartphone had debuted in India back in September this year. The latest offering comes with a few upgrades in terms of RAM and storage capacities as well as a different processor. It also features thin bezels around the display.

The Tecno Spark 8 comes with the same 6.56-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch as the original variant. However, the screen is surrounded by narrow bezels. The back panel retains the square camera module with a 16MP primary sensor paired with an AI lens and LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper. The camera module also accommodates a fingerprint scanner.
The new variant of the Tecno Spark 8 packs hardware changes compared to the previous model. It is powered by a gaming-centric MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor instead of Helio A25. The latest offering also packs a higher 3GB RAM but lesser 32GB internal storage expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. The Tecno Spark 8 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery cell and runs on Android 11 OS with HiOS 7.6 on the top.
Connectivity options on the Tecno Spark 8 include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi. Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Tecno Spark 8 carries a price tag of Rs 9,299 and is offered in Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan and Iris Purple colours. The smartphone is available for purchase across all retail outlets in the country.
