Teletubbies was originally a British children’s TV series. Back in the day it aired from 1997 to 2001. The original series had more than 450 episodes. Now in the year 2022, the entertainment streaming platforms have brought to the table a rebooted version of this kid series, Teletubbies. The series ought to bring back memories and fill the 90s viewers with nostalgia. However, Teletubbies reboot reviews have been a mixed bag of reactions, and not all are happy with the same. Teletubbies Reboot OTT Release Date: When and where to watch online

The rebooted version of the late 90s and early 2000s show Teletubbies is now available on the streaming platform Netflix. The series was released on the OTT platform last week on November 14th 2022. The series is available at no additional cost for all Netflix India subscribers.

The official Twitter handle of Teletubbies announced the reboot version of the show in October 2022. Announcing the series on Netflix wrote, “Over the hills and far away … Teletubbies coming to Netflix on Nov 14 with new narrator Tituss Burgess ( @instatituss ) & new sun baby smiles. 💜💚💛❤️”. In the tweet, they also added four different heart-colored icons representing the Teletubbies.

Teletubbies Reboot About The Show, Narrator and Cast

The series streaming on Netflix is suitable for all age groups, but it is specially made for kids. The original characters Tinky Winky, Laa Laa,  Dipsy, and Po, are back in Teletubbies Reboot with smiley sun babies. The 21st-century reboot of the series has five new sun babies rotated in the episodes. Every episode also has got an original Tummy Tales song. Tituss Burgess is the narrator of the rebooted version of the series. In the series Tinky Winky, Laa Laa,  Dipsy, and Po exist over the hills and far away, and when they press the play button on the front of their body (tummy), The live-action Tummy Tales springs to life. The action takes them to the segment where actress Julia Pulo is there with a few kids, and she sings songs on things like bubbles, rockets, etc. With these cute little games, and songs, the tubbies play around, and the concepts like answering the phone and hugging are taught. Each episode features  The Sun, Noo-Noo, the Teletubbies vacuum, and The Tubby Phone. The Teletubbies are played by Nick Kellington, Jeremiah Krage, Rebecca Hyland, and Rachelle Beinart. The OTT platform currently has 26 episodes streaming online. The show follows Tinky Winky, Laa Laa,  Dipsy, and Po’s wonder-filled adventures, as they learn and grow.

Not all the original viewers of the show and new audiences are happy with this preschool-age series. Teletubbies reboot has received mixed reviews on social media platforms.
