Tata Harrier EV: What we know so far
Based on reports currently making the rounds on the internet, the Harrier EV will leverage a twin-motor setup and would be available in an all-wheel drive (AWD) variant at launch. The automaker has also revealed some of the tech built into the new EV, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
We’ve also learned that the Harrier EV could be based on Tata’s Gen2 EV architecture, a flexible automobile platform that allows the manufacturer to conveniently switch between ICE and electric models.
There will be some visual differences with the non-electric Harrier, as per the company. This ranges from updated LED tail lamps and dual-tone alloy wheels, to name a few.
Tata Harrier EV expected price
While no official information is currently available, the Tata Harrier EV could start from Rs 22-25 lakhs as per reports. This means Tata’s upcoming luxury electric SUV will compete with the likes of the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric when it breaks cover in 2024.
