Canalys has released its report of the top ten most shipped smartphones globally during Q3 2020 and the Apple iPhone 11 has grabbed the number one spot. In the second spot is the latest iPhone SE 2020, which was launched in India earlier this year. However, this is where it stops for the Cupertino-based tech giant.

As per the list, while Apple devices clinched the top two spots, it was Samsung that dominated the list with five models. Apart from Samsung, Xiaomi also has several smartphones in the top 10 most shipped smartphones list. Let’s take a look at all the devices that made it to the list.

According to the list tweeted by Canalys, the Apple iPhone 11 was the most shipped smartphone, with around 1.6 crore unit sent out globally. The iPhone 11 is closely followed by another affordable model from the brand – the iPhone SE 2020. As per the market research firm, Apple shipped around 1 crore units of the latest iPhone SE.
While Apple might have grabbed the top two spots, it’s Samsung that dominated global market shipments with a total of five smartphones on the list. The South Korean brand has the Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A51 as its third, fourth and fifth most-shipped offerings, respectively. Additionally, there is the Galaxy A31 at the eighth position and the budget Galaxy A01 Core at the 10th spot.
Lastly, Xiaomi had three smartphones in the list starting with the affordable Redmi Note 9 (review) at the sixth spot. Notably, the Redmi Note 9 is the rebranded Redmi 10X 4G for the global market. Xiaomi also has its budget Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A offerings in seventh and ninth place, respectively.
