Trial by Fire OTT release date – where to stream it

The series will begin streaming on January 13, 2022. The human drama is directed by Prashant Nair and produced by Endemol Shine India and House of Talkies. It stars Rajshri Deshpande, Abhay Deol, Rajesh Tailang, Ashish Vidyarthi, Anupam Kher, Ratna Pathak, Shilpa Shukla and Shardul Bharadwaj. Netflix will premiere the show exclusively.

Trial by Fire Story and Premise

This trailer for the upcoming limited series Trial By Fire takes the members of the audience on a journey of parents who have fought powerful forces for decades. This is the story of their enduring struggle for justice. As the families of the victims of the Uphar tragedy sought justice, Trial By Fire will narrate their trials and tribulations. The story is based on the book Trial by Fire: The Tragic Tale of the Uphaar Fire Tragedy by Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy.

In recent developments, Abhay Deol shared the trailer on Instagram and said, “The trailer is here! 13 June 1997 altered the lives of hundreds of families. #TrialByFire traces the story of parents Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, who, alongside other families, have fought for justice. Catch their story in #TrialByFire, releasing January 13 only on @netflix_in.”


As the series takes us back twenty-four years in the pursuit of justice, we will also see how the fire has touched and destroyed other lives as well. The series will also be released in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
