‘Trigger’ Movie OTT Release Date: Tamil film ‘Trigger’ will be available to watch online on Aha Tamil on October 14th

Actor Atharvaa’s second release of 2022, Trigger, will soon be releasing on the OTT platforms, after receiving medicore response from the theatrical release on September 23, 2022. Trigger is also the second film where the director, Sam Anton, and the actor have collaborated after releasing ‘100’ in 2019.

The story of the film highlights the father-son relationship where a young undercover cop faces obstacles and manages life with his unwell father. The sacred bond between the two is highlighted despite the fights, misery and other several cases he has to tackle as a public servant.

After a long wait, the makers announced the digital premiere of the film. Fans can watch Trigger on Aha Tamil from October 14, 2022.

Trigger Cast and Crew

Details regarding the digital release of Trigger were shared on the platforms’ social media handles. Besides Atharvaa, the film also stars Tanya Ravichandran, Arun Pandian, C. Arunpandian, Chinni Jayanth and Krishna in key roles. Krishnan Vasant has done the cinematography of the film and PS Mithram has written the dialogue. The music for Trigger has been composed by Ghibran and the action sequences have been managed and choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan.

Trigger has been produced under Pramod Films and Miracle Movies by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa.  Atharvaa’s first film of this year, Kuruthi Aattam, directed by Sri Ganesh, also had its digital premiere on Aha Tamil.

Both the audience and critics gave mixed reactions to the film, and despite decent word of mouth, Trigger did not manage to collect a massive sum at the box office.

The actor already had several films in the pipeline, some of which include Barnesh’s Othaikku Oththa, Karthick Naren’s Nirangal Moondru and Raja Mohan’s Address.
