The OTT streaming rights of the Tamil movie have been bagged by the OTT streaming platform Netflix. Varalaru Mukkiyam, will premiere on the OTT platform on January 15th 2023.

Initially, the film was scheduled to release theatrically on December 2nd 2022. However, the release was postponed by a week. Varalaru Mukkiyam has been filmed in Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Telangana and Kerala. The film was titled ‘Jiiva37’ at the beginning but the name was changed later.

The cast of the film includes Jiiva, Kashmira Pardeshi, Pragya Nagra, VTV Ganesh, K. S Ravikumar, Motta Rajendran, Viji Ratheesh, Siddique, Saranya Ponvannan, Sha Ra, TSK, E. Ramdoss, Swaminathan, Lollu Sabha Manohar, Kali Rajkumar and Aadhi Rai Soundarajan. Raveena Ravi has dubbed the voice of Kashmira Pardeshi in the film. Santhosh Rajan is Varalaru Mukkiyam’s director and as well as writer. R. B. Choudary is the producer of the film, and it is made under the banner of Super Good Films. Shakthi Saravanan is the cinematographer, and Shaan Rahman is the music composer.

Varalaru Mukkiyam Storyline
Karthik (Jiiva) aspires to be famous, while his friend Adaikalam (VTV Ganesh) wants to be a politician. Karthik falls in love with his neighbour. But his love interest’s sister falls in love with him. The confusion arising due to this forms the rest of the plot.
