Written and directed by Sagar, Veekam stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Dayyana Hameed, Siddique and others in lead roles. The film is produced by Sheelu Abraham and Abraham Matthew. Dhaneesh Raveendranath contributed to the film as the cinematographer, while Hareesh Mohan did the editing of the film. William Francis composed the score and songs of Veekam.

Presented as a crime thriller, the premise of Veekam revolves around murder. The plot, as mentioned on IMDb reads, “Three forensic surgeons get involved in a murder case due to small negligence at their end. What unfolds next is their attempt to prove their innocence.”

Veekam: Review
Veekam received a mixed response from the audience. Reviewers stated that the storyline was intriguing to keep the audience interested; however, the film did not have the consistency to engage with the audience. Several aspects of the screenplay, the chemistry between Dhyan Sreeenivasan and Dain Davis, and the performance delivered by Dayyana Hameed and Dhanesh R were appreciated.

Sharing his thought about the film, actor Dhyan Sreenivasan, in an interview with Manorama Online, said, “The audience these days are really smart. They have their judgments about movies. If the film is good, its fate will change in the space of just one show. There are star-driven films that didn’t have an audience in theatres on the second day based on the opening-day response, and there are small films that went on be superhit based on the feedback from just one show.”
